As expected, Asus will be debuting its first netbook based on the new dual-core Atom processor, N550. Shipments of this netbook are expected to start anytime soon. At its heart, this Asus netbook beats the new 64-bit Atom N550, clocked at 1.5GHz. It supports DDR3 memory, hyper threading and RAM up to 2GB.
Like most of the netbooks, it has Intel GMA 3150 graphics, but the main video performance boost is given by the second core, thus allowing the Asus Eee PC 1015PEM to playback your 720p videos. It is expected to arrive in the month of October this year for 450 dollars. Read Asus 1015PEM Review
