Gigabyte T1005M

Following Intel’s announcement of the Atom N550 dual-core processor, Gigabyte launched its newest netbook, Gigabyte T1005M. It is more of a convertible tablet which is a mobile PC where the user can rotate the screen, thus allowing the user to switch between netbook and tablet form factors.

Aforementioned Atom N550 processor lies at its heart and is backup by spacious 2GB RAM and GMA 3150 graphics found in most of the modern netbooks. The screen has multi-touch capabilities too.

It comes with enough storage to meet a mobile warrior needs, a hard disk drive with 320GB of storage space as-well-as 4-in-1 card reader.  Other notable features include USB 3.0 connectivity, 2x USB 2.0 ports, eSATA port and a D-SUB output. Finally. the netbook is kept operational by a nice 6-cell 7650mAh battery and pre-loaded with the Windows 7 Home Premium OS. Expected price is around 800 dollars.
