Affiliate Institute Kameron George Review – [2023 Edition]

By Netbooks Review

Last updated Dec 22, 2022

Kameron George’s Affiliate Institute has been around for quite a while now.

It was created to help people learn affiliate marketing without having to invest much in risky programs or wasted advertising.

But, as good as it sounds, there’s still a lot of buzz around it.

Does Kameron George’s Affiliate Institute actually work, or is it just another scam? Is this course really good for beginners to learn affiliate marketing?

Here’s my honest Affiliate Institute Review.

What’s Affiliate Institute?

Affiliate Institute is an affiliate marketing training program that allows you to learn the strategies of successful affiliate marketers, so that you can start making money promoting other people’s products.

The trio behind Affiliate Institute, Chris Smith, Dennis Yu and Kameron George (also founder of the AWOL Academy) developed the course as a way to pass on their expertise, knowledge, and skills.

The course contains training sessions as well as curated information that’s meant to help those who are passionate about affiliate marketing. At the end, you’re supposed to get a certification.

certification

In all honesty, I can pretty much guarantee you that this certification won’t be recognized hardly anywhere outside of the Affiliate Institute. I feel like they’re using this as an advertising hook to give the course more authority.

Add to that the fact that their website lacks transparency and that they have a lot of bad reviews on their up-selling system (I’ll talk about that in a sec), and everything seems to indicate that I should raise the red flag on them.

But let’s dig a little more.

There might be some useful nuggets to be found here if you choose to use the information wisely.

What You’ll Learn In Affiliate Institute?

Almost everyone has heard of affiliate marketing.

It’s the tactic of earning a sale through a product or service by promoting another product or service that you’re selling. You might be familiar with banner ads and pop-ups, which are also affiliate tactics.

Whether you are new to affiliate marketing or have already earned your first dollar, at the Affiliate Institute you can expect to learn tips and tricks for coming up with product ideas, copy-writing them into compelling ads, building your list so you have people to sell to when it’s time, and coming up with your own strategies for tracking what is working and what isn’t.

Kameron George is all about how to get profitable results, fast. Again, no matter where you are in your marketing career, whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned pro, you’ll learn everything you need to know about affiliate marketing.

And while you’re here, you’ll also get to discover some training on how to make funnels, paid ads, social media, email marketing, and even influencer marketing work for your business.

influencer marketing

If you are already an affiliate marketer, this is going to be valuable information for you.

This program will provide you with step-by-step training on how to use various tools available online to run successful affiliate campaigns.

By the end of it, you will have a better understanding on how to work with different types of advertisers, what each one can be used for, and how effective each one is at achieving your goals.

How Much Does It Cost?

There are two levels of pricing, but many students are unaware they even have options. If you’re feeling lost in the crowd, the program is free for 14 days.

Once you are in, it’s easy to get caught up in the pyramid scheme mentality of this business opportunity.

Let me show you why:

Well, according to their website, Level 1 is free. But if you try to sign up for this level on their homepage, you’ll see that there’s a small label that says ‘free only for 14 days.’ and a big, bold $99/month.

Not entirely free then, is it? Now, once you’re full in, you’ll have to deal with upsells. Right now, level 2 is at a $2,995 price tag.

Think that also, being affiliate marketing their business model, you will need to invest in paid traffic if you wish to generate sales/referrals. That means, you’ll end up spending more than $3,000 just to get started.

Good Things about Affiliate Institute

It’s Not a Sales Pitch

If you are looking for a sales page with hype and exaggerated claims, this isn’t it. There’s no nonsense or fluff here.

Affiliate Institute is not a get-rich-quick scheme, but an actual learning program for starting out in the Affiliate Marketing niche. It’s focused on laying out a plan that can consistently help you build a business through affiliate marketing.

It’s Not Filler-Packed With Boring Lectures.

Affiliate Institute keeps it practical and actionable. They don’t just give you the theory behind affiliate marketing. They teach you how to get started, what to do with your money, and how to grow with your customers.

The best content on affiliate websites isn’t lecture-like. You won’t find here stories of someone stumbling upon a lucky break or learning the secret of the dragon.

Instead, you will find tips and tricks for improving your sales skills, advanced strategies for automating your affiliate marketing activities, and what are the best affiliate programs that give you the most bang for your buck.

Affiliate programs have exploded in popularity in recent years, bringing extra traffic and exposure to niche industries that wouldn’t normally attract much attention. You should learn how to use these great resources properly to build credibility and grow your business.

You can try out Affiliate Institute for free.

If you’ve ever been hesitant to sign up for a program before, this trial is a godsend. You can see if the platform works for you before spending a penny or signing up for anything.

What I Didn’t Like

No transparency

Fact ·#1: Affiliate Institute is deceitful. Why?

Well, on their sales page, they offer you to join their platform for free for training and education on building your own affiliate marketing business, but once you join in, you are redirected to a long webinar that tries to warm you up towards the idea of actually joining in.

What do you think?

It isn’t affordable

Fact #2: Affiliate Institute is overpriced. With all due respect, the knowledge covered in the course is available online for free or much cheaper elsewhere.

It’s not worth paying $3,000 just to find out whether you like affiliate marketing or not when you can get access to the information for an acceptable price.

No Paid Ads, No Profit

You’ll have to spend money on paid ads (that’s the only training you’ll get) if you want to see any money coming from your affiliate business.

I know, I know – it’s a drag! But sadly, the Internet isn’t free and so you need to invest in some kind of traffic bait if you want to attract people to your messages, products and services.

The money you are going to need to spend on ads can probably eat all of your income. That’s why I don’t like affiliate marketing.

It’s ineffective. It’s trickery, full of fluff that doesn’t guarantee results. The good news is that it has competition that sure does deliver solid results!

50 dollar

Is Affiliate Institute a Scam or Not?

Nope. I’m not calling it a scam. After all, you’ll get to learn about affiliate marketing.

It’s just that it will be narrow in focus. It will be very catered to one type of marketing, which is cost-driven. They don’t tell you the truth upfront because they want to maximize their profits by gaining more referrals before they let that kind of information out to the public.

You should not trust a company that only shows you what they want to show you.

The way I see it, even if they’re not exactly a scam, it seems they are mainly concerned with attracting people to their training seminars rather than growing their affiliate business or helping their students.

Bottom line?

There are probably better ways of learning about affiliate marketing.
Conclusion

The Affiliate Institute seems like a popular affiliate marketing program.

I really like the structure of the course, and everything about it looks good on the surface. But I’m concerned about their up-sells, lack of content outside of the course, and transparency around affiliate promotions inside their own program.

If you are just getting started with affiliate marketing, then this course may be over your head. The best part about it is that it is actionable and can easily be integrated into your affiliate business if you are looking to go into niche markets.

Now, if you end up buying the course, I recommend you to stick to the 14 free day trial before getting ripped off.
