Clever Investor Review – Everything You Need To Know About Cody Sperber Training Program

I bet you’ve seen all kinds of ads for Cody Sperber’s Clever Investor program …

And of course, you can’t help but wonder if he’s just another scammer with a very white smile and a not very good camera, right?

In this review, I’ll be breaking everything down for you so that you know exactly what you are getting into BEFORE you get into it.

If I’m being honest, when I started looking to start an online business, I invested some money in Cody’s program.

And the truth is that I learned many things about the real estate market, and after a couple of months I managed to multiply the money I had invested.

But real estate has its ups and downs, and if you don’t have enough dollars to spend (and with “enough dollars” I mean a lot), it’s probably not your field …

That’s why when I discovered lead generation with ads (my top recommendation), I stopped everything I’d been doing until then.

It’s the only business model that pays you to live your dreams.

Creating online ad billboards for businesses didn’t take me longer than half an hour, and with that, I managed to generate the same amount of money I earned after months working hard in real estate.

And, over time, I’ve doubled it!

Who is Cody Sperber?

Cody Sperber is the mastermind behind The Clever Investor program.

He was born in Mesa, Arizona, and I guess he loves that place cause he has spent his entire life there.

He went to Arizona State University, where he met his wife Shannon, a physical therapist.

Following the typical course of things, he had two children with her: Hudson and Brynlee and later enlarged the family with a little friend: his bulldog Sully.

Classic, right?

Taking advantage of his studies in finance, he tried several times to get into the world of real estate.

But it wasn’t until two years after graduating that he managed to fully dedicate himself to it.

He had a lifelong friend, Zack, who like any good friend, shared his dreams of wealth and prosperity.

He insisted that he joined him for a couple of Jack Miller’s seminars, a real estate god of the 80’s (who’s already passed away)

And blessed the moment in which he accepted.

Because there he met the man who would change his life and drive him to create The Clever Investor: Lyle.

Amen.

With Lyle as a mentor, Cody changed the entire way he’d been approaching his real estate institution entity.

And a couple of years later, he managed to flip 50 houses, enough money, contacts and reputation to launch the program of his life: The Clever Investor.

What is Clever Investor?

Clever Investor is a company focused on teaching you how to make a fortune in real estate.

Its program includes courses, mentorship, products to boost your business and a long etcetera.

Cody, its creator, focuses above all on teaching what he calls “creative real estate investing”.

What does that mean?

What he refers to are different, original (creative) ways of investing in real estate.

Ways of investment that not many people are aware of, and that can help you get an advantage and take over the world.

The first strong point of what Cody includes in his course is a 30 days Action guide.

It’s quite impressive how detailed it is since it tells you step by step everything you have to do from the first day to the last in order to achieve success!

The Clever Investor Program Breakdown

Week 1: Get In The Game

On your first day, as an introduction, you’ll get to know the topics in which you’ll be fully involved during the next 30 days.

Then the rest of the week, you’ll learn how to market yourself as a professional real estate investor and make yourself known to the world.

You can do it using the most traditional method (the classic 1-to-1 meetings), creating a page or a professional video.

You’ll also get to see an insight of:

  • How to create an intuitive and simple website for your business
  • How to make your YouTube videos reach many sites with a single button (and before that, he’ll teach you how to create those videos)
  • How to take advantage of Email Marketing services like Constant Contact.
  • How to create a Google My Business Profile

Week 2: Becoming a Real Real Estate Investor

This week focuses on three points, essential for any real estate investor worth its salt:

  1. Understand what an LLC is and how to use it to protect your business.
  2. Networking with the people who will be the engine of your business.
  3. Learn the real estate vocabulary and classify the types of family houses in your environment.

To have a good real estate business, it’s important that you establish it as a legal entity first of all.

This, in addition to giving you security and professionalism from the beginning, will save you many problems in the long run.

Cody recommends that you create it as a Limited Liability Company License, and advises you to use Legalzoom to do so as soon as possible.

He continues explaining that in this business you won’t be able to do anything of value alone.

And here’s the importance of the networking that you’ll have to work not only during this week, but always.

You’ll have to get:

  • A mentor to help you achieve your goals
  • An insurance agent
  • An accountant who’s familiar with the real estate industry
  • A remodeling contractor for needed renovations in degrading homes.
  • A real estate attorney to handle all the legal paperwork for you.

At the end of the week, he will tell you what are the rankings he makes of the 4 different types of single family homes in your market.

Week 3: Essential Elements of the Real Estate Field

During this week, you’ll learn all the professional vocabulary without which you won’t be anyone in real estate.

It’s one of the most important weeks.

Some of the key terms are:

  • Loan to Value
  • Cash on Cash Returns
  • ARV or After Repair Value
  • Monthly Cash Flow Formula
  • Capitalization Rate
  • MOA or Maximum Allowable Offer

Week 4: Cash in

This week, the hunt is on …

You’ll be using the negotiation scripts that Clever Investor provides its students to get deals.

I don’t know if it’s real, but Cody says that in any US neighborhood, at any given time, there are about 5% of homeowners willing to sell fast and at a discount.

He calls this type of people “motivated sellers” and that’s what you have to look for with all the tools they’ve given you so far (and making use of the bonus courses!)

Is Cody Sperber’s Course worth it?

Ok, sounds awesome but… is it really worth it?

There’s no denying:

There’s a lot of quality material and content on Clever Investor.

It is evident that Cody knows what he’s talking about, and the best, that he knows how to tell it to others.

It happens to me very rarely with courses of this type, but I can assure you that what you learn here it’s worth much more than its price.

So my question isn’t really if you should give this course a try, but if this is your best time to do it.

What do I mean?

Well, you have to be realistic.

You’ll have to invest a large amount of capital in order to get the most out of what you learn in the program. You’re not going to get daily profits.

If not, you’ll acquire the necessary knowledge to act … but you won’t be able to do it.

“So if I’m low on money, do I have to keep working at my boring 9-to-5 job?”

“Can’t I create my business online?”

“Will I have to save while I keep dreaming about my lifestyle laptop?

Of course not!

But to get it you may have to look elsewhere …

Lead Generation: The Answer

Look:

We are witnessing an in-depth change in the way businesses and brands advertise their services or products.

Advertising adapts to the new demands of the sector and to the new behaviors of users.
