This young and creative New Zealander up here is Franklin Hatchett.

And there you have it, posing in an “I’m the boss” attitude after receiving an award from ClickFunnels for having sold over $1 million as an affiliate.

You may have seen his face before on YouTube, where he has a good following.

But most of his earnings come from membership … Precisely selling his two online courses (in addition to Savage Affiliates, he is also the creator of Ecom Elites) as an affiliate for platforms such as ClickFunnels or Shopify, among others.

Savage Affiliates – Program Overview

Savage Affiliate is all about learning how to make semi-passive income online with affiliate marketing.

With over a decade of experience in online marketing and campaign management, Franklin Hatchett has created an innovative online training program that will equip even the inexperienced with strategies that can launch successful affiliate campaigns -that’s, at least, the idea.

You’ll learn how to take your business from idea to profitable affiliate site, all while providing valuable information such as step-by-step instructions on building your own website or buying a product.

The first step is to identify a niche, so this is Savage Affiliate’s first module.

As an example, Franklin used to run a business blog that would write about interesting products and services.

The price isn’t crazy, but hey, hold on:

Do you see how the course is advertised with a “60% OFF”?

I wouldn’t trust that.

According to Frank, you have to rush to buy the course because the opportunity will soon slip out of your hands …

But there’s no evidence that the program ever cost, say $697.

So whether a “discount” really exists is questionable.

Have you seen a discount that lasts for months and months but still, “it will end soon”?

Can you make money with Savage Affiliates?

The reality is this:

You can’t make money with Savage Affiliates (at least, not directly).

What you can do with Savage Affiliates is learn some ways to make money online by selling other people’s products and taking commissions for it.

Is Savage Affiliates Legit or a Scam?

Well, Savage Affiliates seems like a good course… if you look at it doesn’t cost a fortune, there are a lot of people who buy it and it has a lot of content.

So no, it isn’t a scam.

But do I recommend it? Not really.

And here’s why:

Cons of Savage Affiliate

• Folders of results? Not really…

Franklin claims that he has lots of folder results from students who’ve achieved success with his program.

But if you take a good look at the Savage Affiliate sale page, you’ll notice that the same handful of them are always repeated.

A little weird, right?

Also, the ones you can find aren’t examples of total success either.

All they do is praise the course and Frank.

Glad Frank’s a cool guy but, where’s the money, folks?

And this takes me to the next con…

• Questionable Success Stories

Here you have an example:

This guy, Brent James, tells us how he went from $0 to $10,000 a month thanks to the course.

So far, so good.

What happens is that this testimony has been going on since mid-late 2019…

And in December of that same year, Brent appeared on Frank’s YouTube channel saying that he was ONLY making about $30,000 a year.

He said also: that this annual income came from his digital marketing agency (not affiliate marketing, and not exactly passive income).

Yeah, I know it…

Maybe you’re thinking that what he really meant was that those $10k/month were an extra income to his business, right?

But no; the truth’s quite different.

Because in April 2020, Brent made clear in a video that his main source of income was the digital agency.

Suspicious? I think so too.

• Hidden Costs

You access the course after a single payment of $197 or $297, but once inside they’ll insist that you buy other products and services.

The affiliate marketing methods they teach you are included in the first payment, but there are a few things you’ll have to re-open your pocket for if you want to get the most out of the program.

For example:

• Website expenses (domain and hosting)
• ClickFunnels
• GetResponse
• Google ads, Facebook ads, etc.

It’s true that in order to apply the techniques of affiliate marketing, you’ll need to make these expenses.

But it would be nice if they told you from the beginning, right?

But hey, not everything’s bad…

Pros of Savage Affiliate

• Low Price

$197 is a price well below the average of what an affiliate marketing course usually costs.

So it can be said that this is one of its most attractive points.

I’ve tried quite expensive (but high quality, usually) courses, and they can triple the price of Savage Affiliate.

Keep in mind that I’m talking here of $197 one time.

You know how many courses give bonus upsells or the like after you’ve joined them, but for Franklin’s course, with $200-$300 you have plenty to get started in affiliate marketing.

• Covers all aspects of affiliate marketing

It has a ton of content (more than 100 lessons).

Take a look at the list of course modules:

Rather than specialize in just one affiliate marketing method, Franklin tries to teach you as much as possible about the affiliate world in general.

The other affiliate courses out there probably work differently (specializing is the key).

But it’s a very good point -especially if you’re starting.

As I said before, it provides a lot of content for so little price.

• Some legit testimonials

True, there are some people who claim to have gotten a great deal out of Franklin’s course.

But it’s somewhat difficult to find opinions of successful students.

What’s more, Franklin himself insists on not using reviews as a tool to promote the course.

I’m going, to be honest: I’ve seen much better affiliate marketing courses, but if you’re on a tight budget, then go for it!

Savage Affiliate is definitely worth a look. It has great tutorials and guides for everything related to affiliate marketing.

The site also has an extensive database of affiliate programs and their details, which makes it easy to find the right affiliate program for your needs. The content is updated, well-written and clear.
