There are LOTS of training programs out there that will teach you how to earn more money online, and if you don’t have the time, there are other online systems that will charge you a few bucks and do all the work for you.

Tommy Rodríguez’s Amazon automation program is in this last category. 

If you don’t know who Tommy Rodríguez is, he’s an Amazon expert who talks about automation and has a system to help you build an Amazon store while you spend more time with your family or doing what you like most — instead of hassle.

In today’s review, we’ll go over the pros and cons of the service he provides and share the reasons why we think you should try something else instead.

Who is Tommy Rodríguez?

Tommy Rodriguez claims to be an entrepreneur and e-commerce expert. 

He founded Automation Empires in 2014, when he began working with dropshipping as a way to make money. 

During his time with the company, he got an education in both affiliate marketing and lead generation.

After seven years of trial and error, he successfully scaled Automation Empires to 7-figures and formed an international team of people that helped with order processing, fulfillment, shipping, and customer service.

He then turned his business into a done-for-you service for anyone who wanted to build an Amazon store without having to actually do the work. 

Today, Tommy claims that more than 600 people have bought their program and successfully made it. 

What does Tommy Rodríguez offer?

Well, in short, Tommy Rodirguez offers you an Amazon set-up system. Basically, his team will take care of whatever has to be done with your own business. 

You’ll have to have the initial capital on hand, though. And after that, he and his group will handle everything for you.

What does that mean? It means that they’ll do all the work for you – from finding what products to sell, creating your brand and product listing, to getting them into Amazon’s warehouses and starting the sales process. They even cover fulfillment and customer service.

In other words, if you have $15 – $50k laying around (the minimum amount he requires), then you can start making money on Amazon without having to do anything yourself…

Or at least it’s supposed to be like that.

Is Tommy Rodríguez a scam?

I personally don’t think Tommy’s Automation Empire is a scam, but I also don’t think that you can make money with him faster than you can with anyone else. 

It may be true that some people are able to make money with Tommy after making an investment of 1 or 2 years, but it’s also true that some people won’t see a return on their investment for much longer than that.

You must realize that this is not the type of business where you can join, send in a few hundred bucks and then make 6 figures in 60 days.

1) Automation Empire provides a done-for-you service

When you outsource all the work to Tommy’s Automation Empire company, they basically handle everything while you enjoy your life. 

They are responsible for automating your business, so you’ll worry less about it, making sure everything runs smoothly when it comes to researching and buying products and taking care of shipments.

2) You’ll get access to Tommy’s private Facebook community 

Tommy’s services give you access to a Facebook community, where other students and the team itself share opinions and advice..

3) Automation Empire has an app for Android and iOs

Each Automation Empire package comes with its own mobile app, so you can stay on top of your business wherever you are.

Cons

1) Tommy’s program is too expensive

Automation Empire offers 3 different packages. These are:

• Intrapreneur Plan: $15,000
• Entrepreneur Plan: $30,000
• Investor Plan: $45,000

However, besides how expensive these services are, Tommy’s is not totally transparent about how much money you’ll need.

The reality is that you should have at least an extra $2,000 or $4,000 for future business maintenance costs after starting with them. 

2) It can take long time to make profit from this business model 

Tommy Rodríguez says it can take a year or more to earn back the money you’ve invested in Automation Empire.

But the truth is it can take even longer than to make profit from this business model. 

You need to pay for a lot of things such as servers, marketers, ads, and so on. Only after you get enough users that are happy with your product, you will start to make a profit from your Amazon company.

3) Tommy Rodriguez doesn’t offer any kind of money-back-guarantee

They don’t offer a money-back-guarantee, so you’ll be stuck with all of the money you’ve invested, even if there’s a problem.

Most companies offer money-back guarantees because they know that even if only a fraction of their customers take them up on it, the cost is more than offset by the increase in sales. 

If you’re really confident your product will work as advertised, why not offer a guarantee? 

Automation Empire doesn’t, and I’m not sure why. It makes me suspicious.

4) The Amazon FBA industry is very competitive

The Amazon FBA industry is very competitive. It’s not like it was back in 2015 when you had a pretty good chance of ranking for most keywords. 

Nowadays, there are many pros that have been around for awhile, who keep re-investing their profits into more PPC campaigns and more products. 

So, it can be very hard to break into the industry, especially if you are a beginner.

Do I recommend Tommy’s Amazon automation service?

Not for the price Tommy Rodriguez asks for it. I do not think it is a scam, but I believe that the information he offers and the money he asks for are not in proportion.

You would have to spend more money on courses on Facebook marketing, SEO, YouTube videos … and it would be difficult to keep up-to-date with everything.

If you really want to sell on Amazon, you’ll be better by doing it yourself (it’ll be much cheaper.
