Some reviews will tell you it’s a legit opportunity, some call it a pyramid scheme.

So, which is it?

Founded in 2014 by Lorne Berry, Tranont is a company operating out of Utah. According to their online presence, the company is in the health and wellness business and assists people and families in achieving increased wealth.

It operates with an MLM model (multi-level marketing). This means that it is a business in which independent representatives help promote and sell its products and receive a commission of everything they sell.

Tranont offers its independent representatives the opportunity to sell and promote its health and wealth products, but if you become a representative you can also choose to develop your “own” business inside Tranont.

However, I think it’s worth mentioning that in the pastTranont has battled with a few lawsuits against them, accusing the business of defamation and deception.

Distributors who sign up to Tranont are given plenty of flexibility and freedom in deciding how to make money and how to start their business.

Nothing seems amiss yet but it’s worth noting that the company has been involved in past controversies – a very common issue with MLMs. In 2017, Tranont was hit with a civil action lawsuit. It was accused of a variety of practices issues like defamation, wiretapping, and deceptive trade practices among many others.

While these claims may sound impressive, it is essential to note that the reviews available on platforms such as BBB or Amazon do not align with the proclaimed benefits.

Are Tranont products FDA approved?

Tranont’s MLM products have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as safe or effective at helping people lose weight or prevent diabetes and heart disease — two claims frequently made by sellers of weight loss pills, diet teas and other supplements.

In fact, most of the Tranont products have not undergone any clinical studies at all — let alone FDA-approved clinical trials — which means there’s no scientific evidence that they work as advertised.

Who are the founders of Tranont?

The Tranont company was founded by Lorne Berry.

Lorne is a highly successful entrepreneur and real estate investor with over 10 years of experience in the financial industry. 

If you go through his LinkedIn profile, you see he claims he has created multiple companies, which have become market leaders in their respective categories.

In addition to being an entrepreneur, Lorne says he has also been teaching financial literacy to consumers for nearly 10 years. He has helped thousands of people understand money management strategies that can help them reach their financial goals.

Lorne’s mission is simple:

That’s the main reason why he created Tranont. 

Tranont lawsuit 2022:

I found a warning regarding health and earnings claims related to Coronavirus when searching for Tranont Lawsuit.

The letter clearly stated that to “advertise that a product can prevent, treat, or cure human disease unless you possess competent and reliable scientific evidence.”

The business was advised to review all claims relating to the products and business opportunity
and immediately cease making claims that are not supported by the evidence.

How Much Does It Cost to Join the Tranont MLM?

If you wish to join Tranont, you will have to initially register your email. Then, continue filling an online application. Finally, choose a membership plan and finish the payment.

There are three membership tiers to choose from:

• The Base Plan for $349
• The Gold Plan for $599
• The Platinum Plan for $1,499

You will need to make the payment immediately because your application will not be processed till then.

In addition to the sign-in fee, members must pay a yearly fee of $49 to keep their accounts active.

And that’s not all.

To qualify for any commissions, bonuses, and more perks, you will have to fork out an additional $125 every month. All products that you sell are not included in any of these fees.

Finally, if you wish to build your business with Tranont, you will have to shell out another $99 – that’s the fee to join Tranont.

For those with no knowledge of how this platform functions, this membership is probably too high.

Pros and cons of the Tranont MLM

Pros

• You’ll get training on topics related to personal health and well-being.
• Tranont’s MLM compensation plan is pretty easy to understand.
• The company pays out a generous commission of up to 35% on all products sold by affiliate
• Tranont offers a wide range of products for its affiliates to sell, including weight loss and beauty products, fitness equipment, personal care products and more.
• Affiliates can earn commissions on up to five levels.
• Tranont has low startup costs and no monthly fees or renewal fees.

Cons

• The company does not have a good reputation.
• The company has questionable business practices.
• The company is not transparent about how much real money its affiliate members earn. This means Tranont does not provide any evidence of how much money people make through their business opportunity or how many people have successfully joined the company.
• There is a lack of research on the products that are being sold by Tranont, which is something that should be conducted before investing any money into any product or service.
• The Tranont website does not have any information about how you can succeed in their business model. They only provide testimonials from people who have been successful and do not provide any information about how they achieved this success. This makes it difficult for new distributors to understand how they can be successful with Tranont and it may lead to frustration when they cannot find answers on their own.
• They have a very high turnover rate. Many people join this company because they think they will make lots of money but then they quit after a few weeks or months. This means that there are many people who are trying to sell these products but not enough people buying them or interested in buying them.

The company’s website does not outline its compensation plans. However, I’ve been able to piece together details from many other resources. Take a look:

Conditions to qualify for compensation

Before you can earn as an affiliate, you must be an active member. This is referred to as “current in Annual Renewal Fees and Subscription Fees.”

Any associate is labeled an affiliate if they have 100 OV within 30 days and have paid the $49 annual fee.

Moreover, affiliates must purchase a subscription plan. Costing $125, this plan gives another 100 PV.

Retail commissions

Any of the company’s members can earn between 10% to 35% in commissions if they sell Wealth Core products and services. The 30% in commission that you earn is then divided amongst the company and your upper lines.

The rate is dependent upon the number of subscribers who use these services as well as how much they spend on Tranont every month.

While it is true that Tranont rewards the more productive members, it is worth noting that you are in an MLM environment. This means you will have to work harder as MLM products and services are usually expensive – and selling is a much harder task here.

Tranont Canada reviews

Tranont has seen a significant growth over the past few years, and it is expected to continue growing. While the growth has brought with it typical challenges for companies when they double in size, Tranont has maintained and added to its many great benefits.
Tranont is a great place to work. Despite the fact that it has experienced some challenges due to COVID, people moving away, Tranont management remains committed to making Tranont an enjoyable and exciting place to work.

Is Tranont a Pyramid Scheme?

A pyramid scheme is one where the business in question does not have any real product or service to sell. Instead, the aim of the business is to recruit more members and raise funds through these new members.

If you think of Tranont that way, then no, the company is not a pyramid scheme.

This is because Tranont does offer a range of products that associates can sell directly to others without having to recruit members. That is the one reason Tranont cannot be labeled a pyramid scheme.

The problem is that many companies make money partly from sales and partly from membership fees. For example, Herbalife sells supplements and makes money from sales but also gets high prices for its distributorships.

For instance, take a closer look at Tranont’s commission model. Tranont has a recruiting system in place that attempts to create a team. Here, members enjoy commissions based on sales by people they have recruited to the team.

Interestingly, commissions seem to increase as you go higher up the ranks – much like how a pyramid scheme works.

Tranont Bad Reviews:

Tranont mostly has positive reviews on platforms like Google Business, Facebook, or even BBB. However, having a few good reviews on these places doesn’t really give the full picture. If you dig deeper, you will find plenty of bad reviews calling Tranont a predator without any scientific evidence to back them up and just another MLM with bad products. In addition, most Reddit threads about the company have negative comments.

Verdict – Is Tranont a Legit MLM or Scam?

If you take a closer look at Tranont’s compensation plans, it is clear that the business makes most of its money from member fees rather than actual products.

Due to this and its shady past, it’s clear that Tranont isn’t a legit company. It remains one of the shadier MLM companies around and its products and services really don’t offer much value.

Similar to all MLM firms, you’ll find a compensation plan, offering a low investment return – until you recruit more associates.

But, as they do not make it compulsory to recruit members to earn, it cannot be classified as a pyramid scheme. You can make money just by selling their products, although it’s very difficult and not worth the returns.

To sum up, everything around the company looks fishy. Their products are not related in any way and make us think they will sell anything possible. The expensive membership plans do not guarantee returns and the products they sell are not approved by the FDA.
